Pea Fiber is an all-natural dietary supplement which can enhance the amount of vegetable fiber that most American diets lack. As we all know by now, Fiber is essential to good health and proper digestion. Proper Fiber intake has been shown to help prevent diabetes mellitus and improve glycemic control in those already affected with diabetes. A Fiber-rich diet has also been shown to reduce cholesterol, thereby improving cardiovascular health. Fiber is also essential to proper bowel function and the safest way to relieve constipation. Healthy bowel function is the main way to prevent diseases such as diverticulosis, colon and other forms of malignant disease and Type-2 diabetes. Fiber intake is also a vital component in any weight loss program, especially low-carb diets. Most of our dietary fiber comes in the form of fruits, vegetables and grains. Restricting the intake of these foods leads to a lack of fiber and all the negative side effects thereof. Pea Fiber is especially interesting, as it has been shown to absorb fat at a higher rate than many other sources of Fiber. If you are trying to lose weight with a high fat diet, Pea Fiber can reduce the risks that low-carb diets sometimes entail. But Pea Fiber is not only for dieters. It is necessary for everyone to include proper amounts of fiber in the diet to prevent disease, sickness, constipation, and to improve overall health.
