Herbal Serenity - Botanical Relief for Chronic Hemorrhoid Problems - is a botanical alternative medicine formulation which contains a blend of 12 all-natural herbal extracts for effective relief of hemorrhoid conditions. The term "hemorrhoids" refers to a condition in which the veins around the lower rectum or anus are swollen & inflamed. Hemorrhoids often result from excessive straining during bowel movements. Other factors that contribute to the formation of hemorrhoids are pregnancy, diarrhea, and chronic constipation. Several over-the-counter (OTC) topical remedies are available for temporary pain relief, but this botanical formulation is designed to support relief via the natural processes from 'within' the body. HERBAL INGREDIENTS: Proprietary blend of standardized herbal extracts of Butcher's Broom (Ruscus aculeatus), Cascara Sagrada (Rhamnus purshiana), Chickweed (Stellaria media), Dandelion Root (Taraxacum officinale), Ginkgo Biloba (Ginkgo biloba), Horse Chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum), Horsetail (Equisetum arvense), Mullein Leaf (Verbascum thapsus), Oak Bark (Quercus alba), Plantain (Plantago major), Witch Hazel (Hamamelis virginiana), and Yellow Dock (Rumex crispus). Also contains Citrus Bioflavonoids.
RECOMMENDED DOSAGE: Take two (2) to three (3) capsules with a large glass of cold water at the onset of painful symptoms. If condition persists, take two (2) additional capsules every three (3) hours. Do not take more than twelve (12) capsules in a 24-hour period. As a dietary supplement, take one (1) capsule each day.
