Natural Radiance - Internal Collagen / Skin Enhancer - is a botanical alternative medicine formulation which effectively rejuvenates and moisturizes the fibrous connective tissue of the skin.  Regular use of this herbal blend will reduce skin roughness, flakiness, cracking and peeling, and strengthen the skin to produce a more youthful appearance. Collagen is the fibrous protein constituent of skin, cartilage, bone, and other connective tissue. Collagen is the principal constituent of the fiber-network layer of our skin. Collagen is organized in long, wavy bundles which vary in diameter from about one to twenty microns. These bundles branch in a complex and random manner to form a three dimensional network upon which many of the qualities of the skin’s surface depend, and it is this complex network of fibers which provides each person’s skin with its own unique character.

More than a third of the body's protein is collagen, and it can account for an even higher percentage in particular parts of the body. Collagen makes up 75% of our skin tissue. The more science learns about the body, the more significant we see collagen to be. The epidermis (skin) consists of a number of overlapping layers of cells. The outermost layer of the skin is called the stratum corneum and consists of dead keratinized cells. The stratum corneum, when compared with the lower layers of the epidermis, is rather dry. This dryness can result in roughness, increased flakiness, and in more severe cases, cracks and actual peeling. The skin may appear reddened and even inflamed if the dryness is sufficiently acute. It has been shown that the stratum corneum remains soft and pliable only as long as the moisture content exceeds 10%. Below this, the skin becomes hard and brittle and develops an opacity. It is this outermost layer of the skin that is typically moisturized by application of external lotions and creams. If this outer layer can be made to look plump, transparent and healthy, the overall skin texture will assume a more youthful appearance. In the lower layers of the skin, degenerative changes occur as we age whereby not only moisture is lacking, but also certain complex polypeptides breakdown such as elastin and collagen. Collagen, the naturally occurring fibrous protein, is a primary support structure of the skin. It gives the skin strength and suppleness as well as an inherent ability to retain moisture, and makes up about 90% of dermal volume. With aging, and as a result of exposure to the sun, our collagen fiber components begin to weaken, become less pliant and more hardened. The result is the development of dry, wrinkled skin that has lost its inherent elasticity. In contrast to topical creams and skin moisturizers which act on localized body areas for a limited time, regular use of Natural Radiance will act naturally "from-the-inside-out" to produce long-lasting, healthier, wrinkle-free skin.

PURPOSE OF FORMULATION:  This formulation provides natural herbal ingredients which rejuvenate and enhance the skin.

OTHER APPLICATIONS:  Assists in the regeneration process for broken bones, and the healing of wounds and lacerations, by assisting the growth of blood vessels to feed the healing areas.

FORM:  Capsules (600 mg. each)

HERBAL INGREDIENTS:  Proprietary blend of standardized herbal extracts of Horsetail (Erigeron canadense), Cayenne (Capsicum annum), and Wild Yam (Dioscorea villosa).

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE:  Take one (1) to two (2) capsules, three (3) times each day before meals.
