Viable Bio-Guard- Herbal Support for Gout - is a botanical alternative medicine formulation that contains a blend of nineteen all-natural herbal extracts for effective support in warding off gout.  Gout is a disease caused by the irregular metabolism of uric acid.  Uric acid is a byproduct of the breakdown of protein in the body.  Improper metabolism results in elevated levels of uric acid in the bloodstream.  This excess uric acid forms crystals that are then deposited in the joints, which, as a result, become swollen and painful.  The attacks are usually intermittent and relegated to a single joint at a time, usually the big toe.  Attacks of gout are often precipitated by alcohol use or a change in diet, though these are not the causes of the disease.

Recommended Dosage:
Dosage for Viable Bio-Guard is a function of your body weight, to be taken during symptomatic episodes:

• <120 lbs - take two (2) capsules 2-times per day (total of 4 capsules per day).
• 120-200 lbs - take two (2) capsules 3-times per day (total of 6 capsules per day).
• >200 lbs - take two (2) capsules 4-times per day (total of 8 capsules per day).

Contraindications:
Viable Bio-Guard is not recommended if you are pregnant.
