Herbal Solace - HB - Botanical Support for PMS - Heavy Bleeding - is a botanical alternative medicine formulation that contains a blend of twelve all-natural herbal extracts for effective relief from heavy bleeding (menorraghia) associated with the menstrual cycle. Bleeding is a normal part of menstruation. On occasion, the bleeding can be unusually heavy. The follicles that release eggs from the ovaries may begin to age or may not readily respond to signals from the pituitary and hypothalamus (glands in the brain that regulate the menstrual cycle). As a result, you may not be ovulating (a condition called anovulation). Without ovulation, the body doesn't produce enough of the hormone progesterone during the second half of your cycle, which can make the cycles shorter. As a result menstrual periods may be heavier, come closer together and last longer. Heavy bleeding is often preceded by worse-than-normal pre-menstrual symptoms. While not necessarily dangerous, heavier-than-normal bleeding can be uncomfortable, distressing and fatiguing. Aside from PMS, there are numerous other possible medical causes for menorrhagia (heavy bleeding), including endometrial hyperplasia, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, environmental factors (cigarette smoking and excessive alcohol intake), stress and obesity.

Recommended Dosage:
At least two (2) weeks prior to the expected start of your period, take two (2) capsules, two (2) times each day with a large glass of cold water at mealtimes. When bleeding begins, take two (2) capsules, three (3) times each day until your period ends. Do not take more than twelve (12) capsules in a 24-hour period. As a dietary supplement, take two (2) capsules each day.
Contraindications:
Do not use Herbal Solace - HB in conjunction with prescription diuretics or anticoagulants.
