| About Arthritis and Joint Pain - Arthritis is a condition that primarily affects dogs and cats, although less frequently for cats. Symptoms include inflammation of one or more joints, accompanied by pain, swelling, and/or stiffness. This is usually the result of degeneration, trauma, infection, etc... of the joint. It occurs in various forms such as osteoarthritis (degenerative joint disease), rheumatoid arthritis, bacterial arthritis, traumatic arthritis, osteochondrosis, hip dysplasia (malformation of the hip joints that leads to arthritis), inflammatory joint disease, pain/stiffness/swelling/inflammation in or around joints, and more than a hundred other diseases or ailments. If your pet is experiencing pain and having problems walking, running or climbing due to arthritis, it usually means considerable damage has already occurred in the joint and surrounding joint tissue. This is because, in most cases, articular cartilage (the cartilage at the end of the bones) has already degraded (worn away) to the point that it gives little or no shock support between the bones. This is the point when swelling and pain start setting in due to the lack of shock absorption and lubrication of the joint. |

PURPOSE OF FORMULATION: Botanical support for the relief of arthritic pain in joints and surrounding joint tissue, while helping to improve joint flexibility.
FORM: Bulk powder (125 grams, 480 grams, -or- 800 grams)
