These same colons had only quarter inch passages left open. Another autopsy revealed a colon so loaded with mucoid plaque that it weighed forty pounds! The healthy colon weighs about four pounds, but few people realize that the same mucoid layers found in the colon, also abound in the stomach, duodenum and small intestine.
